Consultation has concluded

Willoughby City Council is inviting feedback on the draft Cycling Strategy and Action Plan 2034 until 11:59pm Sunday 27 October 2024.

The Willoughby Bike Plan, established in 2017, conducted an audit of cycling infrastructure within our Local Government Area. Seven years later, it is time for Council to reassess and update our cycling strategy to meet the current needs of our cycling community. Willoughby City Council Cycling Strategy and Action Plan 2034 provides a comprehensive framework and strategic direction for cycling, micromobility, and integrated transport programs, services and facilities in the City over the next decade. This Strategy outlines four priorities, each accompanied by specific actions, and includes a cycling network plan designed to connect popular destinations within Willoughby and neighbouring local government areas.

The Draft Cycling Strategy and Action Plan can be found in the Document Library on this page. We also encourage you to participate in the secure survey linked below to provide your feedback on the Cycling Strategy and Action Plan. Public engagement sessions will be held to gather input from community members:

  • September 7, 2024 Saturday, 10am - 4pm: Willoughby City Council's Street Fair
  • October 21, 2024 Monday, 3pm - 5pm: Artarmon Room, level 4, 31 Victor St, Chatswood NSW 2067
