Background
In response to feedback received in the Phase 3 - Exhibition of the Draft Plan, the Chatswood Skate Park Plan has been revised. The Final Plan focuses on detailed street features as requested at the Phase 2 workshop and raised during the initial Masterplan consultation last year. Every effort has been made to accommodate the general consensus wishes of stakeholders throughout the engagement process that were within the scope of the project funding and the current skate park footprint. The Summary of Issues and Recommendations explains how the design was altered to address community feedback.
Next steps:
Detailed construction drawings will be produced. Then the project will be tendered and awarded to a contractor. Construction is intended to commence from April 2019.
