Sanders Park is located on Julian St in Willoughby. It contains a local playground that is due for renewal as per Council's Asset Management Plan.
An initial round of consultation was conducted in October/November 2022.
In response to community feedback Willoughby Council has prepared a Draft Playground Improvements Plan for Sanders Park.
The Draft Plan includes a new triple swing set, climbing frame, multi-rocker, in-ground trampoline, sandpit and water pump with trough.
The existing slide will be retained and the entry frame replaced. A new shade sail is proposed over the slide.
