Background

A Vision for High St: The High St neighbourhood centre is a vibrant community hub providing food and convenience shopping within an accessible, safe and pleasant environment. New development has been of a low scale enhancing the shopping and community experience.

We invite you to;

When: Thursday 7 March 6.30pm-8.00pm

Where: Willoughby Council Chambers, Level 6, 31 Victor St, Chatswood

CALL INTO A DROP-IN SESSION focusing on the East Chatswood & High St Local Centres

When: Saturday 2 March, 10.00 -12.00noon

Where: Uniting Church 10/12 Clanwilliam St, North Willoughby

Please take some time to review the Draft Local Centres Strategy 2036 to understand what changes are being proposed. In particular, Section 2.5 from page 32 to 38 which focuses specifically the High St local Centre. East Chatswood Local Centre can be found on 25 to 31. You can choose to:

OPTION 1: Provide an overall response about your Local Centre section of the Draft Local Centre Strategy (1-2 mins). Simply answer the question about reviewing the strategy, then skip through to the final page to provide an overall response and complete the demographic questions to submit.

OPTION 2: Scan through and respond to any of the optional questions about various elements proposed for your Local Centre section of the Draft Local Centre Strategy (1-5 mins). This option will provide us with a more detailed understanding of community sentiment towards specific elements of the Strategy.

Note:

  • The demographic questions are required survey responses.
  • Agreement to the republication of a version of your submission is required in order to use your submission on Council's websites and in Council reports. Personal information will not be used.
